Roar by the Shore Cruise In

10th Anniversary!

It was a beautiful day at Osborne Park in Willoughby as the community celebrated this special milestone! We sincerely appreciate our Roar by the Shore partners for organizing this event for the last 10 years. Because of their dedicated efforts, the Cleveland VA Fisher Houses opened in 2019, and funds raised now through this incredible show continue to support vital programs for the veteran families staying there. See you at next year’s event — Sept. 5, 2026!

BBQ and Banquet

For the 4th year in a row, the community showed up in a big way at the American Legion Post 703 to support the Fisher House families. Our sincerest thanks to those who attended, participated in, donated to, and volunteered for this event. It takes everyone’s help to bring everything together. We couldn’t do it without you!

11th Anniversary!

Thank you to all who supported the 11th Annual CWO4 Stanley Krysiak, USNR, Retired, Memorial Golf Outing, hosted by our partners at the Polish Legion of American Veterans. This event was held once again at the Briardale Greens Golf Course in Euclid on Armed Forces Day (May 17). We are so appreciative of this collaborative effort to raise funds for the Fisher House families. Please be sure to save the date for next year’s event–Saturday, May 16, at Briardale! 

Roar by the Shore 9^th Annual Cruise In

The 9th Annual Cruise In was held at Osborne Park in Willoughby this year–a fantastic new location! Thank you to the City of Willoughby for welcoming this event and for all their help, and all who took part in it. A BIG thank you to our Roar by the Shore partners for their continued support of our mission to serve veteran and military families at the Cleveland VA Fisher House. Cleveland VA Fisher House 5-Year Anniversary Celebration

We celebrated the 5-year anniversary on Saturday, June 15, of the Cleveland VA Fisher House’s grand opening! The Open House-style event featured a family cookout and other fun activities from 10 am – 4 pm for our community supporters, donors, and volunteers.

Thank you to all who attended that day, and especially to ALL of you who helped make the Fisher House a reality here in Cleveland as well as those who continue to support these military and veteran family guests.

Flower Planting at the Cleveland VA Fisher House

Each May, local volunteers stop by the Cleveland VA Fisher House to plant flowers around the grounds, making the scenery even more calming and inviting for the military and veteran family guests. It was a beautiful day this year! Thank you to everyone for their hard work and support.
