***ATTENTION**PRE-EVENT SALE*** Conkeys’ “Go4the Build!” The Scarlet & Gold Supports the Red, White & Blue – Hosted Fundraiser to Benefit The Greater Cleveland Fisher House We have an autographed fiddle complete with Letter of Authenticity for our fundraiser, donated by Charlie Daniels himself (you know “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”). Due to an extremely high volume of interest, we are selling pre-event raffle tickets at $20.00 each.  Tickets can be purchased with cash, check, credit/debit card.  To be fair to those not on social media, we will have some tickets available at the event. We will pull the winner’s name on July 16, 2016 during the fundraiser.  You do not need to be present to win, but need to make arrangements to pick up the fiddle. HBA Smart Home Tour Raises Money for Cleveland Fisher House Construction

Consumers who are thinking about building a new home or remodeling an existing one can get a first-hand glimpse of the latest technologies for making their life easier and their homes greener – and do so while giving back to veterans and their families. This year the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Cleveland is donating tickets sales for its annual Smart HomeTour toward the construction of a Fisher House, a“Ronald McDonald House” property to be built adjacent to the grounds of the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland, said HBA ExecutiveDirector Brenda Callaghan. When complete, family members of hospital patients will be able to relax comfortably and free of charge in one of the 16,500-square-foot home’s 18 suites. HBA hopes to help Fisher House organizers close the gap on raising $3 million before groundbreaking on Veterans Day. Approximately $2.8 million has been raised to date. “We are asking consumers to come out and help us support the Fisher House while they take part in the educational tour,”Callaghan said. Fundraising Event Raises Over $6,000 for GCFH!

Elvis impersonator Frank Worley was one of three acts that rocked American Legion Post 421 in Fairview Park the evening of April 18 to benefit The Greater Cleveland Fisher House (GCFH). Other acts included The Liverpool Lads (Beatles impersonators) and The Pop Tarts (60s girls group impersonators). The event raised just over $6,000.00 for the GCFH campaign.

Browns Alumni & Strongsville Browns Backers Score for GCFH October 20, 2013 was a busy day for GCFH at the Brew Kettle Micro Brew and Restaurant in Strongsville, OH.  Homemade beers made by members of the Cleveland Browns Alumni Association, and a host of games and activities hosted by the Strongsville Browns Backers, helped to raise more the $4,000 for the GCFH.  The day was wrapped around a wonderful clambake hosted by the Brew Kettle whose employees donated their time to the event.
